Propelled by fear

Too often have I been stuck in the same place. I'll leave it to try something new for a while, but i'll be right back. Vicious cycle isn't it? In a world of contradictions and hypocrites, when will the caterpillar that turns into a butterfly turn into something crazy, like a five-eyed cat? When pigs fly I suppose.

There's risk in not taking risks, and there's a lot of synonyms for "fear." One can stay in their house for all of eternity to avoid the dangers of outside. They can then develop agoraphobia and listen to Red Hot Chili Peppers on repeat confined within four walls they call home. It's not until the catastrophe lightning bolt strikes us in between our eyes in order to jumpstart our heart for life.

Are we seriously going to dwell in our bag of bones and blood and gelatinous organs, and drown our sorrow and life away?

Being the nerd I am. I love hearing stories about people's lives. I love reading about them and at the prime of my nerdiest moments, googling stuff along the same lines.
More often than not people all around the world regret not doing something over doing something. Don't be another one on the list!

It's a hard task. I struggle with it too. Hey, i'm only human! Everything is always easier said than done.
For a little motivation, and so I won't be as inclined to delete all my posts like i've done before, repeatedly. Here's a list I stole of things people wish they knew when they were younger.
  • Most of it doesn't matter.
  • The greatest source of misery and hatred in this world is clinging to past hurts.
  • Waiting to do something until you can be sure of doing it exactly right means waiting forever.
  • If people complain that you're too fond of going your own way and aren't fitting in, you must be on the right track.
  • If you make your work your life, you're making your life into hard work.
  • The quickest and simplest way to wreck any relationship is to listen to gossip.
  • Trying to please other people is largely a futile activity.
  • Everything takes twice as long as you plan for and produces results about half as good as you hoped.
  • People are oddly consistent.
  • However hard you try, you can't avoid being yourself.
Happy Living!
